Dance at Ryan Elementary
Taps ‘N Toes Dance Studio is excited to dance with the students of Ryan Elementary! This upbeat after-school program gives dancers the chance to explore jazz, pom, and hip hop while building confidence, coordination, musicality, and performance skills.

Fall Session 1
Kick off the school year with seven weeks of dancing, movement, teamwork, and fun!

- No class: October 8
- Class time: Thursdays • 2:35–3:35 PM
- Performance: Final class on October 22
Families are invited to join us for our mini performance during the final class. Specific audience arrival details will be shared with registered families.
What Dancers Will Learn
Each session introduces dancers to a mix of jazz, pom, and hip hop through technique, combinations, games, and age-appropriate choreography.
The final class of each session includes a mini performance so dancers can proudly share what they have learned with family and friends.

Plan Your Dance Year
Ryan Elementary dance is offered in four separate sessions throughout the school year. Families may join us for one session or come back again and again!
Fall Session 1

Registration for each session is completed through the Taps ‘N Toes Family Portal.
Getting Ready for Dance
- Wear comfortable dance or athletic clothing
- Please avoid denim or jeans
- Hair should be pulled back
- Bring a labeled water bottle
- Label dance shoes with your dancer’s name
Shoes
Dancers should wear:
- Jazz shoes, or
- Clean tennis shoes
Dancers do not need a formal dance outfit. Comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely is perfect.
Where to Go
Dance class takes place each week in the Ryan Elementary Music Room with Miss Talon.
Students will transition to dance after the school day and class will run from 2:35–3:35 PM.
Pickup
Please meet us outside at the front of the school at 3:35 PM.
Be sure your dancer signs out with Miss Talon before leaving with you.
Dancers attending SAE after dance should let Miss Talon know and check out with her before signing into SAE.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do we have to participate in every session?
No. Each session is registered separately, so families can choose the sessions that work best for their schedule.
Can my dancer join again next session?
Absolutely! Returning dancers continue building skills while new dancers can comfortably jump in at the beginning of each session.
Is there a performance?
Yes. The final class of each session includes a small, in-class performance for family and friends. We will send registered families specific audience arrival details before performance day.
What is the photo policy?
We respect Ryan Elementary photo permissions and only share photos of dancers when the appropriate release is on file.
Where do I register?
Registration is completed through our Taps ‘N Toes Family Portal. New families will create an account; returning families can log into their existing account and select the Ryan Elementary session under Registration.
